The Aboriginal Land Trust and local Swahili community, in collaboration with a local nonprofit developer, have created the Sixth Street Affordable Housing project.

As joint owners and developers, STANBURY completed this 5 townhome development in North Ryde, a central suburb of greater Sydney, Australia. When designing this property, our main focus was luxury, spacious living areas and an abundance of natural light.

Microsoft Office Vancouver
According to Microsoft, it spent $100 million on designing and building the state-of-the-art office.
Within this Pacific Centre building, Microsoft occupies the top two floors. The team carefully installed this massive tenant improvement all while Sony Imageworks global headquarters remained fully operational below the space.
Access to the top two floors was restricted to one elevator that required meticulous logistics coordination from the team.
Microsoft President Brad Smith, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and a number of other dignitaries were at the official grand opening June 17, 2016.

KITS Café and Eyeware
Acting as development and project managers for repeat client KITS.com, this project is an optometrist and café at Kitsilano Beach, Vancouver. During the project we oversaw design coordination, contract superintendent, trade procurement and occupancy.
Guildford Town Centre Shopping Centre
Owner’s representative construction project management assistance for a 200,000 Ft2 expansion and major renovation of BC’s largest shopping centre south of the Fraser River. This project entailed meeting major programming objectives while undertaking an extensive build and remaining fully operational to the public.
Metro Tower III
Owner’s representative construction project management of Canada’s first Leed Platinum certified office tower. The building featured post-tensioned slabs with an iconic curved glass structure built over a five-story underground parkade.
Tablet House - Australia
As Project Managers for the owner-developer, we lead a project team design charette that resulted in saving over $600,000 in scope with an alternative strategy to the structural design.
Porsche - Vancouver
Porsche Vancouver was the second of nine projects for the Dilawri Group. This 19,000sf concrete building includes 9,000sf of service, 6,000sf of mezzanine offices, 10,000sf of sales floor and a rooftop parking feature.
AUDI - DILAWRI Group of Companies
Provided Construction Project Management for Dilawri Auto Group completing the AUDI Downtown Vancouver and AUDI Vancouver Service Centre projects, two of seven separate projects constructed by Ledcor.
Acura Vancouver and Acura Langley
Two separate projects, both for DILAWRI Group. Acting as Construction Project Managers we oversaw the execution of these projects to suit the car manufactures specific scope and project requirements.
Best Buy
As Construction Project Managers we procured the design team then trades and oversaw the construction of this base building within an existing carpark while the mall remained fully operational.
Mayfair Shopping Centre
Owner’s representative design development and construction project management services for a 90,000 Ft2 expansion and renovation of this Island property. Key requirements for shopping centre renovations include extensive floor and lighting design upgrades, improvement of tenant design criteria and creating vibrant food court and public meeting places within the facilities.
Manly Wharf - Australia
As lead project manager for this heritage design-build redevelopment, we procured the design team, completed a detailed design and budget to suit the demanding heritage and marine requirements of Govt. then oversaw the execution of a multi-phased construction project within the fixed budget and schedule, all while maintaining the public transit operations for the 6,000,000 passengers that use the wharf annually.
Edgewater Casino, Vancouver
As Owners Representative Project Managers, we completed the oversight of construction for the owner. Work included a major tenant improvement of BC Place (constructed for the EXPO86), major upgrade of existing HVAC, electrical services and security for the Casino.
YEW restaurant + bar
This design-build project converted the old Terrace Restaurant to the YEW. Completed while the FourSeasons hotel and surrounding mall remained fully operational was one of the many success stories on this project.

UBC Bioenergy Centre.
The first mass wood cross-laminated-timber products (CLT) building in BC, and the first of its kind in North America. The UBC BRDF processes renewable biomass to generate thermal energy. Stanbury worked to locally source CLT (before major manufacturing facilities existed) and worked closely with the design team to coordinate and deliver this landmark building. The BRDF is a Living Laboratory project, integrating UBC’s core academic mandate of research and teaching, all within a facility that is a showcase for CLT products made in British Columbia.
Telus World of Science Facility Upgrade
Provided planning, design management and construction project management services for the redevelopment of this iconic Vancouver legacy facility. The facility expansion and renewal required extensive project oversight and stakeholder management at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels in order to meet the requirements of this privately and federally funded infrastructure stimulus project.
Klahoose Multi-Centre, Cortes Island.
Built on the shores of Squirrel Cove on BC’s remote Cortez Island, Stanbury collaborated to deliver this fully prefabricated building leveraging mass wood, SIP panels and Building Information Modeling (BIM). The building serves as an accessible welcoming place for the Klahoose people and the local island community. It was designed to emulate the Coast Salish Longhouse and the detailed cedar cladding was constructed in close collaboration with the Klahoose First Nation’s trade carpentry program. The structure was completed in just 12 weeks.
Holroyd Civic Centre
As lead of the design-build team, Stanbury coordinated the logistics and construction of this three-phase 2-year project. This included construction of the new library, temporary relocation of City staff, full renovation of the existing three-level structure and coordination of the amalgamation of three district libraries into the one facility. The new buildings also house the civic offices with state-of-the-art conferencing capabilities within the council chambers.
